So disappointed in people.

I scheduled a mover today to help me with some heavy boxes. This person was well aware of my medical condition. In normal times this is a move I’ve done many times alone. But times are different now. I have a catheter in my chest. My kidneys aren’t working which affects my stamina. I can’t hydrate properly because I’m on a fluid restriction. And I literally just got out of the hospital for a busted ankle/knee both of which just healed miraculously. This was a time where I needed some assistance. Even if I still did 75% of the move alone, that 25% would have been much needed relief.

Anyway the mover not only didn’t show up, but he completely ghosted me. I waited at the pick up location for him and after an hour I assumed he wasn’t coming. Very shitty of him not to give me a heads up as I could have found someone else to help.

But as always I got the job done by myself. It took a lot longer than usual as I had to take more breaks to recharge. I continually prove to myself how much I can handle despite being thrown a godawful medical condition

I also love when people show how dependable they are or aren’t. Saves me time in the future when asking for favors.
